Your Furbaby's Farm Vacation
Pet care experience
Ive always had a pet since I can remember. Hamsters in third grade, orphaned kittens and a beloved golden retriever. When my family moved to the countryside animals would mysteriously appear at our door. I took care of them. During my college years I had a sheep dog. In my 20’s I regularly house sat for a lady with 10 dogs (private kennel) 2 horses, needing lunging exercises daily, a parrot and several cats- now that was a feeding schedule! I enjoyed all the animals! Through the years I have cared for many dogs, chickens, cats, horses, birds you name it I have taken care of it and enjoyed each pet! I have ample time to pamper your pet, I really enjoy sending photos and videos of our walks and fun times to help you feel secure that your pet is getting the attention and care you expect. I like to have only one client per stay if possible so you know your pet will receive pampering and one on one care and attention. Any breed and size or age of dog is welcome here! For emergencies we live 1 mile from Valley Walk Animal Hospital, 2 miles from Double Springs Veterinary Hospital, 5 miles from Travelers Rest Animal Hospital. Emergency care is close by. Crating is always an option at my house please provide your crate and crate schedule if needed. Food and meds you should provide. It is stressful on a dogs digestive tract to change their food brand and schedule. I always will have emergency food available if needed. I have one elderly pyrenees mastiff mix, Chloe, who sleeps alot. She has one place on the couch that is her favorite. If your dog enjoys a spot on the couch or bed we will make a blanketed spot for them. We have a gated covered porch with fan for warmer months Chloe loves to go out there to nap, if your dog enjoys being on the porch we have safe accommodations. We leash on all walks and when outside. Much of our farm is fenced and wooded. Security cameras are in use. We live in a home tucked in the woods with a 1/4 mile gravel driveway a good way off of the road. When daily walks are required they can be completed on our driveway and our private woodland trail without ever needing to leave our farm.
Reviews
Leeanne helped us with our dog who was not used to being walked in a neighborhood where there were other dogs and more people. She was great with him and he improved in his ability to cooperate with walking. He also learned how to walk past other dogs without breaking his walk. Leeanne loves animals and they respond to her positively. She is very trustworthy. You can leave your pet with her with no worries!

Information Lee G. would like to know about your pet
let me know any anxieties, fears, dietary restrictions, or allergies your dog has. Let me know if your dog is prone to having accidents indoors or getting into the garbage Let me know if they tend to "run for freedom" every time a door is opened. Also any other information that will help your pet have a good experience! Do they especially like ear scratches or brushing? Are they treat and reward-driven? Does your pup like to sleep on the bed or couch with a toy or blanket? I want them to feel as comfortable as possible during their stay with me.
A typical day
If your young dog is being trained and needs some one on one training (like sitting, staying or walking on a leash respectfully) I can work with them while they are here. Please explain the techniques you are using so I can continue with what you have already established. Crating is always an option at my house please provide your crate if needed.
