Pet care experience
I have always loved pets, which led me to achieve a bachelors in animal science, with an emphasis in companion animals! I’ve worked at a 24-hr pet boarding facility as well as a veterinary clinic and have also had the opportunity to intern with a local dog trainer who utilizes positive-reinforcement training. I have experience giving pill medication to cats and dogs, and am available most days for walks and drop-in visits. Overnight stays at clients home is negotiable. I’m fond of all dogs, but have a special softness for Shiba Inus and Great Danes! I have quite a bit of experience in handling the giant breed, as we’ve had one as a family dog for many years. I hope to build great relationships with owners and pets alike!

She watched my three babies for me while I was away for my son while he was in the hospital. I knew I could trust her by the fact she took companion animal classes while in college in the prevet route and she also worked at our local animal shelter and one of the veterinary clinics as well. She’s always on time and very reliable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my three babies and they wouldn’t either.
Leanne is an extremely detail oriented person who will provide excellent care to future clients. She has an amazing acute sense to recognize any changes in pets health or behaviors which is what I think makes the best person to leave our fur children with. She is responsible and always on time. I feel confident in her abilities to care for any animals that she meets including those that may require medicines or special care during their time with her. She is attentive and loving to furkids while also maintaining a mannerly expectation of them when necessary. As a friend that graduated from college with her, I was able to first hand observe her skills in the Animal Science department, & I am confident in her abilities to accurately & exceedingly care for many types of animals. You won't be disappointed choosing her as your next dog sitter.
Leanne is the most responsible animal caregiver I have ever known. From horses to goats, to dogs and cats and everything in between, she displays a level of care that is unsurpassed. Coming from a family that shows purebred Grate Danes, Leanne has the experience and patience to handle all dogs great and small. Simply put, you cannot find a better caregiver than Leanne.
