I was very nervous about leaving my dog for the first time after we rescued her. LeAnndra did an excellent job with her!! My dog Coco was happy and content when I picked her up. I will definitely be bringing Coco back❤️

My two dogs stayed at her house and they looked comfortable! One of my dogs is sensitive so if she’s not feeling comfortable, I can tell even in the picture. in the pictures she looked really comfy!! Definitely go back :)

Information LeAnndra R. would like to know about your pet

-Is your dog up to date with their vaccines? -Do they get along well with all other dogs of different breeds & sizes? -Allergies? poultry? dairy? -Where does your dog normally sleep? WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS TO SLEEP IN BED WITH US. -What are rules/boundaries you have for your dog? I try to keep to their structure and routine as close as possible. -Is your dog a finicky eater? or do they go on a hunger strike when they are away from home? (with your permission, I can hydrate the dry kibble with homemade bone broth, mix in some pumpkin puree, goats milk kefir and blueberries and/or add in some ground turkey and veggies. I always have theses things on hand will only mix them in after asking your permission)

A typical day

-We try to go on 2 separate walks a day (if weather allows). One short one in the morning for about 10-20 minutes. The morning walk is more for smells and sniffs and less about walking. We usually don't get very far. Then, one longer one in the evening for about 45-60 minutes. We walk around the neighborhood and sometimes the park. If the weather is kind of rough, I prepare lick mats (with your permission), we play hide and seek with treats (one dog at a time) & other mentally stimulating activities for enrichment. * I typically walk them in pairs, but if you feel your dog would do better on a walk alone please let me know so I can accommodate. ** If your dog is still working on their leash manners and you feel it would be safest if they skipped out on a walk please let me know. -If its a typical day (sunny & warm), we spend hours (usually 3-5) outside playing fetch, splashing in the kiddie pool, or sunbathing. While most of the time is spent together, each dog will also get 30 minutes of outside alone time (SUPERVISED, of course). -I let each dog out in the morning by themselves for 5-10 minutes to go potty & sniff (SUPERVISED, just no other dog at the same time) - I have several water bowls inside and outside that I make sure to keep fresh and full. During summer when hydration is most important, I make ice cubes with tiny pieces of fresh mint, or blueberries for extra hydration and nutrition! -I freeze, bake & dehydrate my own dog treats. I use fresh ingredients from our garden, fresh eggs from the chickens, goats milk kefir, and low fat, lean meat. I use all dog friendly and nutritious ingredients. WITH YOUR PERMISSION, I'd love to spoil your dog with one or 2 treats a day. The treats are appropriately sized to be given a few a day and are usually about the size of a quarter. *I will let you know what treats I have & what ingredients they contain to make sure I have your permission & the ingredients are ok for your dogs tummy.

Availability

-I have two big fenced yards that can be separated, but usually are open and combined into one large yard to run, sniff and play. ALL OUTDOOR PLAY IS SUPERVISED!! -I send daily updates with pictures and videos of your dog. (please do not feel obligated to respond to every picture or update I send) -I DO book multiple boardings at the same time. I max out at 3 boardings/sits. Including my dog, your dog could be one of four dogs in the house at once. I always feed them their meals separately and safely. Our dog, Salsa is a fixed 2 year old Border Collie true to his breed. He is friendly and smart. You can check him out on Instagram, Salsa_the_bc -We have a 2 smalll chicken coops with a few hens in each out back! Their coops & run are well secured so dogs do not have access to them although they can see them. ----Meet and Greets help your dog adjust better during their stay so I prefer them but I do not require them.
