Pet care experience
In my childhood I grew up with neighbours who had dogs, I was never allowed one so I spent most of my childhood taking care of them as if they were my own. I would take them out for walks, play with them and had even brought them to the beach or park with my family with owners consent of course! I would also drop in to feed and let them out for toilet breaks when my neighbours were out of town. I had a special bond with all these dogs in my childhood! Finally, I was old enough to adopt a dog of my own - he is 10 year old mixed terrier (now 16). he was an overweight senior dog but he melted my heart so I took him in and cared for him. I helped him reach a healthy weight, we went on many walks and adventures at his own pace! But now he is too old for an apartment and resides with my family in east LA where he has a back yard and bigger space. My family instantly fell in love with him and it was mutual! I still go to see him every week and hang out with him. Now that he is getting older I help him with his arthritis and gain more experience taking care of a senior dog. I am an avid dog lover and wish to utilize my services with other dogs in need :)

I am punctual and communicative. A great listener and observant. I will take your pets needs into consideration, if any. I’d like to let your pet feel safe by checking in with them and vice versa before we commence our walks. I am mindful on my walks so I’d like to give your pet time to immerse in their environment by sniffing and stimulating their mind. I approach other dogs with caution and am good at reading their body language. I will only stay on paths that are pedestrian safe and avoid your pet from eating anything during the walk. In addition I like to check in with you before, during and after my visits, I like to do this via text or send photos. I can also track the walking route if you prefer.

A typical day
I like to do activities depending on your pets pace and what they are capable of. For example, if they require more physical/mental stimulation we would go to a big park, play fetch, run around and sniff out the new smells around us. If your dog is older, we can be chill and sit at the park, watch the clouds, observe what’s around us and receive a big belly rub.

I am a freelancer and work from home most days. I spend a lot of my spare time being active whether that is walking around the neighbourhood, hiking in nature or going to the beach and would love to have a doggy companion to share these activities with!
