Pet care experience
I have 6 years of experience caring for pets (up to 12 years old) I understand that animals require patients which I definitely have for both energetic puppies or the older dog who loves to take their time and nap all day. I love to go on long walks and don’t mind getting dirty during bath time. I understand that some dogs have trouble interacting with others so I stay mindful of keeping the dog safe along with others around them. I also don’t mind the pet hair or the stinky dog breath, I still think they’re cute. Lastly, I am completely free Friday - Sunday which makes me a great sitter for weekend home sitting or a long play date at my house! I currently said goodbye to my sweet girl. Back on Rover after a break for a chance to be back around other pets and be able to give them all that extra love!

I have a 2 year old bulldog and had to go out but was not able to find someone to board my dog. I called leandra and she was able to not only look after Petey but bathe him as well. He had rolled in some mud earlier that day and i couldn't give him a bath but she did it for me. im really picky on who takes care of my dog but i know hes in good hands with her.

Before each visit I’d like a detailed description of things they’re allowed or prohibited to have. I follow these instructions heavily and always ask for guidance from their parents if anything is left unclear to insure the safety of the pet. I don’t give any unauthorized food/toys and only host 1 pet at a time to avoid any injury between animals and give my undivided attention.

I’d like to know how dogs behave around children and if they have any triggers I need to avoid so I’m aware of what’ll make them most comfortable (or uncomfortable) during our walks.
A typical day
I’m close to the FDR which means miles and miles of room to walk by the water and explore the cities parks. I also don’t mind booking one dog at a time and usually prefer it so I can spend 1 on 1 time with the dog and get to know them better.

I currently have full time availability so I have time to tend to your pet and their needs. They’ll spend most of their time hanging out with me at home, at the dog park(if permitted) and or enjoying play time
