The most cherished quality of dogs is their ability to love unconditionally in a way that humans cannot. I am choosing to be a pet sitter because I understand the importance to pet parents of having trusted help. I believe I am not only the most trusting choice but also well qualified with a background in pet adoptions and veterinary technician experience. Unlike boarding, I will not only look after your fur babies but I will also keep an eye on your home, bring in your mail, take out your trash AND tidy up your space! I currently have one cat (I'm a HUGE cat lover) in New York and briefly owned a rescue puppy in 2009 for 6 months before he died from a tragic accident. In my hometown I have cared for my mom & stepdad's Dachshund and my dad & stepmom's 4 cats (one of which I owned from his birth in 2005 until 2013) while they were away. As a child, every year since I could write, I asked my parents for a dog for Christmas. My wish was never granted which only fueled my passion for dogs even more. As an adult I worked for the Houston Humane Society as an Admissions & Adoptions Clerk, later moving on to technician work. Before moving to New York I regularly stayed overnight at my dad's colleague's house watching her two big labs.
