Pet care experience
Hey everyone! My name is Leahra (Lee-ar-uh). I am 25 years old. My husband and I love animals. His family breeds Golden Retrievers and have several litters of puppies each year. As a child my family had a Goldendoodle named Leo. My husband and I currently have a dog named Nora. She is a Golden Retriever Cocker Spaniel mix. She is well behaved and socialized. I have experience taking care of dogs who have just been born to those who are very old. I also have taken care of dogs with injuries such as burns, or dogs that have just been spayed or neutered. I understand the love people have for their pets and will give them the best care possible. I teach children with Autism at a clinic for my day job. love meeting new people (and dogs)! Leahara did an outstanding job taking our two boxers for a mid day walk while I was recovering from a back injury. The girls (my dogs) came back happy and tired. Leahara is a very sweet young lady and a pleasure to work with.
I had to go out of town work related on short notice. My 7 year old Boxer, Baxter, is in kidney failure and I won't board him. He doesn't do well when I'm gone overnight so I had a dilemma. Leahra to the rescue. Not knowing how he would do with her, we had a meet and greet. Well, it was love at first sight for Baxter. Leahra was able to stay overnight for that weekend. She communicated regularly so I had peace of mind and could concentrate on my training. My flight home was weather delayed and Leahra made arrangements to stay until I was home. When it came time for Leahra to leave, Baxter didn't want her to go. He was very well taken care of and happy. I was thrilled with Leahra's care, her great communications throughout my absence, and highly recommend her.
Leahra takes such great care of my dog Nora! She's great at anticipating her needs and providing a fun environment for her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with their pup ☺️
Leahra is an exceptional caregiver when it comes to dogs. I have had the chance to see her interact with dogs. She is extremely affectionate, ensures that the dogs' needs are being met, and loves being with them. Leahra is the kind of person who will go above and beyond to care for dogs. If given this opportunity, she will not view this as a chore, but will look forward to spending time with her furry kids. I would highly recommend her.

The more information the better so I can make sure your dog is comfortable. I don't have breed preferences, but I do have the most experience with Golden Retrievers/Doodles. I also have taken care of several Boxers and Labrador Retrievers. I would like to know how often your dog needs to be taken outside to use the bathroom, and if they have any aggression issues or incidents. As I said before, my husband's family breeds dogs so I have experience with young puppies.
A typical day
You are welcome to leave me any toys or treats your dog likes! I also love talking dogs on walk to or dog parks if you are comfortable with that.

Since I work part-time right now I am available to take care of pets Monday-Friday afternoons, and also on Saturday mornings and afternoons. I could also do evenings after 7pm.
