Caring for your dog as my own
Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for 15+ years from puppy stage to senior years. Always had a dog of my own after 18 and grew up with dogs and other animals. I have a now blind senior Boston Terrier who I have had since he was 8 weeks old and I trained on my own with going potty, sit, stay, speak, lay down, off, taking baths and playing fetch with the ball. Before getting my Boston Terrier I did pet care, sitting and dog walking with another company way before for about a year or 2 handling different size dogs. Absolutely loved all our play, natural walks together and get the ball days either at the dog parks or beach.

When I think of Leah, her love of animals comes to mind. Her face lights up when she talks about animals, especially dogs. As far as I know, she has always owned a dog. She takes her dog most places she goes, and I noted she did not leave him in her car. She always had a cute story to tell about her dog, laughing as she did so. I would trust her completely with my pet in every way. As a matter of fact, I would trust her with the care of my newborn baby AND my pet! I worked with Leah for many years in the medical field. Her compassion for the sick and dedication to her job was always number one. Rover would benefit from having Leah as a dedicated provider of animal care.

I am an advocate for having detailed instructions in caring for your dog so that I can do my best to establish a safe and trusted relationship. Whenever I go out of town and leave my dog with my parent. I let her know the amount food, how often he is to go out and he needs to be guided to walk since he is blind. My routine with my dog is morning potty and since we leave in an upstairs unit I carry him down due to him being too scared going down when he is blind, morning feeding, mid day walk some days but short since he can't do to long with his heart murmur, evening potty and evening feed.

A typical day
I love to attend to your dog's energy level and help stimulate the level of fun your dog enjoys and needs. We can go to their favorite places if your dog has any. We can take adventure hikes together and roam around off leash beach or go to park fun areas where other dogs are. Please let the type of play and fun your dog loves and really enjoys as well as consistent training I can uphold to and help with.
