We moved to Conway recently with our 3 big dogs, one of them an insulin-dependent diabetic. We were subpoenaed as witnesses in a criminal trial in California, and didn't know anyone local who could care for our beloved dogs. Our plans were not firm until the last minute. I contacted Leah through Rover. She was fine with giving insulin injections as well as oral medications, and she was very understanding about the uncertainty of our plans. She was willing to refund the entire amount if the trial was continued or canceled. Before we left, she made an extra trip out to our home to meet the dogs and go through our routine. Our dogs loved her immediately and were competing for her attention. She wasn't intimidated by their size (2 of them are well over 100 lbs), and clearly understood what was needed to care for our special needs girl.
