Pet care experience
I have had various pets growing up - a dog since I was 11. I previously worked for a dog kennels, walking the dogs and helping with feeding and cleaning. Prior to using Rover, I had lots of experience looking after neighbours and friends dogs whilst they were away. I live with my boyfriend Petr who is also a big dog lover and helps me take care of the dogs we have round.

Leah and her partner looked after Reggie very well while we were at a wedding locally for 2 nights. Clear communication and she sent us daily updates, which was greatly appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with her again.

We have a comfortable 2 bed home with a medium sized fenced garden. It is a rented property so we can only accept toilet trained dogs due to the landlord’s rules. Dogs are allowed anywhere including on furniture and beds, we love a cuddle! We can adapt to your needs for sleeping arrangements, if you prefer to keep your dog downstairs at home. We will treat your dog with as much love and care as if they were our own. We care massively about the welfare and happiness of every animal we meet ❤️ We understand this might be a worrying time for you as an owner, so we will do my best to put you at ease, and build your trust, before and throughout the stay.

We will need to know if you have any specific requests e.g. sleeping arrangements or feeding schedule. We usually don’t have more than 1 booking at the same time, but if we do we will discuss this with you beforehand and make sure all owners and dogs are happy.
A typical day
We love to explore new areas to walk with dogs and love nature and the outdoors. We live round the corner from a large countryside/field area so this is usually our go-to walk. We have plenty of toys for dogs who like to play but also love a cuddle on the sofa if your dog prefers to relax more. We’re always excited to get to know each dog individually and discover their unique personalities and quirks!

Availability
I currently work part time but have started working a little bit more in the new year. I am always home over the weekend and can be flexible with my hours to fit around dogs, so I am still trying to book as many doggos as possible! My boyfriend works part time on a rota so his days at home are varied. We will always discuss our schedules prior to booking and make sure that we will be home enough to give your dog the love it deserves! (I will not accept a booking if I think our schedule is too busy as I wouldn't want to leave dogs alone for long)
