Pet care experience
I have always appreciated the special connection animals have with humans. I volunteered at shelters in my teens and most recently worked at a successful & busy doggy day care in Montclair. Some of my job requirements there included keeping track and taking care of 20-30 dogs at a time both in the ‘big’ dog room and ‘small’ following strict and detailed feedings and individual needs & care. I am experienced in administering meds (drops & oral) as prescribed. I pay extra attention to any detail provided and understand your pet is like a child and care for them as such.

Effortless to leave our pup with Leah. We have great confidence and no worries when she sits with our pet! She definitely knows how to care for a dog.
This review is long overdue but Leah is an absolute sweetheart! She takes excellent care of my dog and often spends more time with him than scheduled. She always sends pictures, gives detailed updates, and even sends photos of her distance covered / walking path. When she says she has a blast with my dog, she means it! Leah is one of those people that loves your pets as if they were her own.
Leah was amazing!!! My dog is very timid but loved Leah from the minute she walked in. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my Ginny. They had a great time and I will definitely be using her services again!

I love all animals, big & small, and always had cats growing up. I am unable to have dogs where I live but would love to treat yours like my own. I have cared for my doggy nephew, Gabe (as pictured), since he was just a pup and I enjoy the special communication that I share with animals. If he only knew how much joy he brings to my life! I recently adopted a 2yr old kitty whose name was Lia (same as mine just spelt differently) so I knew it was fate. I just adore her.

I would like to be educated on every and all characteristics and personality traits of your doggy. For example, any routines, habits, or quirky behaviors. Most importantly, any allergies, foods, treats, etc that I need to be aware of or need to stay away from. Your pets safety is paramount.
A typical day
Your doggo will be pooped by the time bedtime rolls around. I can play fetch all day if it were possible. I also like belly rubs and snuggles.. for the pup too ;)
