Hi I’m Leah, I’m 38 and love to walk and care for dogs come rain or shine! I have grown up with dogs from the age of 8 including Red Setters, Westies, Spaniels, Poodle crosses and Dachshunds, so I have a lot of experience with dogs. I have a licence from Northampton Borough Council (AWL0043), a National Diploma in Animal Care, a certificate in Animal First Aid and CPR, worked on a farm during my younger years and regularly care for family dogs. WALKS: When walking your dog I will either walk from your door or take them in my car to another place near by. There lots of local walks in Duston near me, but our favourites have to be the big field near us in St Crispin, Upton Country Park and Harlestone Firs where we like to meet other dogs and friends. I also like to go further to places like Delapre and Sywell. Where ever we go we will have fun together! I can walk your dog for 30 minute (please enquire if you would like longer). I always walk your dog on the lead unless you say they can be let off, but I like to have been walking them regularly first to build up a relationship. Your dog will be walked alone, or if your are happy for me to walk them with others, I will walk them with just one other dog, this is often one of my own, either Marley my Cockapoo or Indi my Cavachon, both love other dogs! DAY CARE: Along side walking your dog I am licensed (AWL0043) to offer day care too! Day care is available around the school run, so drop off before 8:30 or after 9:30am. You can book a half day of up to 4 hours for £10 or up to 8 hours for £20 Monday to Friday. During this time your dog will have fun with my 2 dogs, go for a walk and have some cuddles and down time, they will also have access to our secure garden. I can feed them if needed, please provide their usual food. Please note I accept only dogs that are proven to get on well with other dogs and children as I have a 7 year old child. Before your first booking I will come and meet you at your home for a short meeting to go through details and some forms. I accept the following : Small dogs (under 10kg) Females must be spayed Males must be neutered Must get on with other dogs and children Must not resource guard Must be house trained Must be over 1 year Information: For walking and drop ins I’m happy with any friendly dog that get on ok with other dogs. I like to meet you and your dog before the first official booking, this is usually just a quick 15 minute meeting at yours to go through you pooches likes/dislikes and some forms. COVID-19 guidance will be followed. Walking 30 minutes or more between 9:30am and 2pm Monday to Friday. I provide poo bags. Drop Ins Feeding and letting out (usually 20 mins) 9:30am - 6pm Monday to Sunday. Day care Weekdays up to 6pm. So feel free to get in touch for a chat :)
