Veterinarian

Pet care experience

I am a veterinarian in Knoxville, and I’ve been working with animals professionally for over 10 years. My experience caring for animals (healthy and sick) makes me fully qualified to care for your pet! I have experience in emergency medicine, and I’m able to recognize subtle changes in your pet’s health. I can also administer your pet’s medications if needed. Special needs pets are welcome, and you can trust me to take good care of them. I’m also happy to check on your small mammals (guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, etc.). My dog Hazel would be happy to share her space (including a fenced yard) with a new friend! Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Leah was quick to respond upon my initial reaching out to her. She was flexible in scheduling, and was on time and very professional at her meet&greet and when dog sitting. She was very communicative with me during her stay and I think the dogs were very happy having her babysit! Leah left the apartment cleaner than when she arrived - folded blankets, cleaned up dog toys on the floor. I trusted her completely when staying in our home! Our dogs were exhausted when we got home - we know she exercised our dogs well and took good care of them! They also had fresh water and food down when we got home. She was attentive to detail and very professional. We will be using her again!

Leah was great with our dog, and hers was a great playmate for ours. Good fenced back yard.

Leah took amazing care of my animals and I’m so grateful for her attentiveness! My cats can require a little extra attention at times and her dedication and love for animals gives you a sense of ease when leaving your fur-babies at home. ❤️❤️❤️

Leah was an excellent sitter for my boys before she moved - they were so sad to see her go! She took great care of my two unfriendly older cats (they are very particular and don't warm up to everyone but they loved her). She was also totally unphased to mind my special needs dog who needs extra TLC due to incontinence special diet and medications, and seizures. It was a relief to know they were in good hands when I traveled.
