We are a family of 5 with kids 9-14 and 2 female labradors. We absolutely love dogs and they are a huge part of our family. The kids have grown up with dogs and pet sit for friends over the years and I have owned dogs of all sizes my entire life, The dogs that board with us are treated like royalty. We only accept one family at a time (max 2 dogs from the same family) and require a meet and greet at our house before boarding. I am a stay at home Mom so I am at home most of the time except for a couple of hours when I may go to the store or gym or run kids to activities, My husband works from home 3 days a week so there is usually one of us here but if its a short absence the dogs are inside securely. During summer our 3 kids are home too to play with the dogs and walk and cuddle them and they love it. We can feed and walk your dog on your schedule and any special requests will be noted. Your dog will be cared for like our own and treated like our own. They will be cuddled, walked, and played with like you would do or more. We will always keep you informed of how they are with pictures and get detailed information from you on their routine. Since we have children and 2 labradors we will require your dog to be up to date on immunizations as ours are and show us proof from your veterinarian before boarding. The dogs we board will only be from 1 family at a time. We do not take dogs from multiple families for our safety and your dogs safety and peace of mind. My golden stayed with Leah and she was so well taken care of… Leah and family (and her 2 beautiful labs) were so good to Calli while she warmed up. Leah sent pictures and stayed in great communication the whole time, so I was not worried. Highly recommend!

Leah and her family have been great with my dog for more than 3 weeks. He was happy and safe while being with them. They were his loving second family. I have a fully fenced yard with lots of dog toys to keep your dog to be occupied but you are willing to bring your own too or a special comforting toy, blanket or bed. My dogs will keep them busy playing inside and out and they will receive regular nap breaks throughout the day. Dogs can be walked on request to suit your schedule. At meal time the dogs will be separated for safety and to make sure they eat their food. Please bring your own food bowl.

If your dog has any special behavioral issues or needs - e.g scared of certain things, please let us know so we can make them more comfortable.If they need any medications please also let us know when applying to board to make sure we can deliver those appropriately. Please also let us know if your dog sleeps in a crate or on a dog bed at night. We also require a meet and greet for new boarders. Please also send your dogs updated vaccination record in advance of boarding. Please provide an emergency contact number and your vets information. **ALL NEW CLIENTS MUST SCHEDULE A MEET AND GREET AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PLANNED BOARDING DATE, LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS CANNOT BE ACCOMMODATED IN MOST SITUATIONS** Please note I do not take cats, dogs with behavioral issues, Pit Bulls or Pit Bull Mix or German Shepherds. All dogs must be house trained. I do not take dogs that mark their territory inside or chew furniture. All dogs must be in good health.
A typical day
A typical day with us is we let the dogs out to potty as soon as they wake up - normally 7-7:30am and they come back inside the house for cuddles, play and then we feed them around 8am. They can play in the backyard with us or inside. More cuddles and then normally we walk around the neighborhood and park near our house for around 30 minutes. We can do whatever is best for your dog. If they would rather not walk that's fine. Generally your dog will be inside and out for play and potty and cuddles all day. If they like a crate and are used to it at night or when you go out briefly we would appreciate you bringing it. We give them lunch and /or dinner at your schedule in the evening and more play time before snuggles and tv time with us on the couch, bed or mat. Potty always before bed time around 10:30 or at your requested time.

I am a stay at home Mom and my husband works at home 3 days a week so there is always someone here with the dogs. In the afternoons around 4-6 we do run kids to sports so may be out for about 30 min. If you have a crate we would prefer you bring it in case we need it.
