I can and will go to the Madison and Verona areas! I live in a good sized home with a big backyard where your dog can be tied out on a long leash to play. I have easy access to the bike trail to walk your dog. I also own a German Shepherd (who is loud but really quite a pansy) that your dog can play with during the day. If your dog does not do well with cats, they can go outside or go to the basement. Our cats have experience with dodging dogs that want to make them chew toys. I have owned dogs for my entire life and I have experience taking care of puppies (my dad has two labs that we got as puppies). Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome!
