Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Leah. I would love to care for your pet(s)! I have fostered several dogs and cats over the years. And have volunteered for my community for a while now. I have experience administering medication, as well as checking on injuries, bottle feeding, etc.. If basic training (sit, stay, down, speak, paw, heel, crate training, potty training) is needed for your pup, I am also open to working with them. I’m currently working towards a vet tech license, and in the future hope to work at an animal hospital, or with the rescue I’ve fostered for. If you think I’d be a good match for you and your fur baby, or you have any questions, or need references, feel free to contact me. (Unfortunately at this time, I AM UNABLE TO CARE FOR SENIOR DOGS WITH HEALTH ISSUES. Or any pet that requires medication. I experienced a loss recently, and I do not feel comfortable taking on the care of another fur baby in a similar situation.) I'm a stay at home parent, so I have a free schedule throughout the week. I am more than happy to work with you and your pet(s)'s schedule. When I watch your pet(s), you can feel at ease knowing that they are in great hands! I will treat your pups like they are part of my family. If house-sitting, I plan to work with you to follow their schedule. I will spend as much time with your pet as possible. If you are willing, and comfortable I would love to take your pet(s) to the beach, or a local park. I plan on leaving your home better than I found it. I am also open to watering plants, bringing in mail or packages. (Please let me know, if that's something you'd like me to do. ) For drop-ins, I will follow their feeding schedule strictly and get in as much play time, or walks as I can. I also provide updates, and many pictures, to make sure I'm doing everything correctly. I'm more than comfortable walking multiple dogs at the same time, as well as handling dogs that have issues lunging, are reactive, or tend to pull. I dedicate myself to one household at a time, and can ensure that you will arrive to find a happy and healthy pet(s).
Reviews
Leah is one of the few people I trust to watch my dog because I know how great she is with her and how much care she takes with my pup. I never have any worries when Leah is watching my pup for me.
Leah watched our two dogs on short notice. She was professional, attentive, and took great care of our dogs and home. We really appreciate her and will book her services again in the future.
Leah was really great with my dog. She sent plenty of pictures and updates. She was extremely attentive to my dog and her needs and took great care of my place as well. Will use her services again in the future and definitely recommend her to watch after yours animals as well.
There was a little confusion about daily schedule and time to be spent in our home but after the first day Leah settled into the routine of staying with our pug (who loves a lot of time snuggling) and was terrific with communicating with us throughout her stay. She was so kind to even take us to our local airport and brought our dog to our arrival which was so thoughtful. She did great trips to the beach and was very good at keeping to the feeding schedule and sending photos.

Information Leah M. would like to know about your pet
Would like to know if your pet is dog/cat aggressive... Or if there is any bite history... How they behave around cats, children/babies... Whether they lunge, or bark... Any quirks, or habits they may have... What can I do if they're not eating... Their favorite toy? Activity? Veterinarian office? Medical history..etc..
A typical day
I am open to walking your dog around your neighborhood or at a nearby park. As well as, at the beach or even a local hiking trail. It all depends on what you are comfortable with.
