Pet care experience
My main adventure partner is my 4 year old kelpi/healer mix, Jake. I’ve grown up with dogs and horses and have many years of experience working with animals. I believe dogs should have the opportunity to go for a nice long walk with friends and be outside smelling all the smells! I have taken many behavioral psychology classes so I understand how to hand unwanted behavior and train. I’m not a professional trainer by any means, but I understand the psychology behind training. I will be happy to take your pup for a multi hour long walk/hike, or long run if that’s what they require! It gets me outside too! The more they move, the more tired they’ll be for when you come home! Feel free to reach out and ask any question about my pet care experience!

Leah is an amazing, loving, responsible dog caregiver!! I always trust her to watch my pup (even when he was 9 weeks old!) She is very fun loving and active so my dog was always pooped after playing with Leah. Dogs love her and she loves dogs- a perfect combo for a dog caregiver!
Being able to go on vacation (and leave my dog, Bun, at home) without having to stress about making sure they are well taken care of, or feel bad for leaving them at a kennel, is such a wonderful feeling! Leah took Bun (who needs exercise) on lots of walks and even a hike! I rested easy knowing that she was being fed on time each morning and evening and given lots of pets throughout the day. Every time Bun sees Leah now she jumps up and down and gets so excited. The anxiety of going on vacation and leaving Bun at home has gone away! And that is priceless.

A typical day
I love getting out in the woods as much as possible, so if you are comfortable with it, we would go out to the mountains! If your dog plays well with others, I would bring mine along and they would get positive stimulation with another dog!
