Pet care experience
I currently am owned by one Chihuahua, one Cattle dog mix, and a sweet little kitty. No size or breed restrictions here. I love them all! Having and training my own dogs for many years in a pack environment has led me to my passion for caring for others pets as well. I also have been involved in horse therapy and multi species behavior modification therapy. In addition, I work with horse rescue organization's during natural disasters. I previously worked for the State of California as a Independent Living Skills Instructor for adults with developmental disabilities. My passion for helping people and animals runs deep and I wish to SHARE THE LOVE :) My Cattle Dog and I do extensive pack/hike trips and training and my Mastiff pup is currently being trained to be a Certified Therapy Dog.

Rover, I've known Leah Highland for over 10 years and on many occasion, spent a lot of time with her family (pups included as they area always included). She is and has always been a dedicated mother and pro-active altruist, who on many occasion, selflessly contributed to improving the lives and wellbeing of those in need. Her Pups (and daughters) are all loved, given proper attention, taught discipline and cared for unconditionally. Her canines are happy and well mannered. Leah has always had a passion for animals of all kinds. Never met anyone that loves animals like her. She is always taking in animals and helping others find homes for those who need one. 100% the best person for your loved fur babies.
Leah was our babysitter a year and half ago while we went on vacation. We had 4 dogs and a cockatoo. Everyday she took lots of pictures of how happy they were. She let us know every day they were doing great. She spent hours with them everyday. Leah truly loves them and they showed it when we got home. She took care of our family members as she would her own. Who else would we trust with them!❤️
I've known Leah for 10+ years and can honestly say I wish every dog had an owner, foster, or friend like Leah !!! Leah is not only a loving pet owner and fur foster mommy, but she addresses every aspect of making an animals life blissful. From training and socializing to wonderful outdoor adventures. Leah is one of the most honest, trustworthy and loving people you could ever meet and any animal who crosses her path is truly blessed.

I would like to know if your dog is socialized with other dogs and cats, how well he/she walks on leash, if they are ok around children, if there are any medical conditions and or medications to take into consideration, etc. I will always have a lot of questions about your pups as they are a part of the family after all. I will also gladly take care of your farm animals needs as well. Feed, water, etc.
A typical day
Considering the weather and the condition of the water of course, I really enjoy taking dogs out to the ponds behind Shadow Cliffs. It's great socialization for them since there often a lot of other dogs and if they like the water, they get to play in that too! If you prefer I take your dog to a dog park, we can do that as well. Fetch, water play, cuddle time..it's all GOOD stuff!
