Information Leah H. would like to know about your pet

I love all dog breeds! I would just like to know the energy level of the dog so that I am prepared and can bring as much energy as needed so that all the needs of the dog can be met accurately! It would also be good know know if the dog has had any mishaps with violence, although I am capable of handling all personalities, I prefer a heads up if the dog tends to be shy or scared of new people.

Pet care experience

Hello! I have just moved to the Seattle area and I am an absolute dog lover! I have had dogs my whole life ranging from small to large breeds, as well as low to high energy dogs. At the moment, I have a Golden Retriever named Bubba who is 12 years old and a Pit bull/Boxer mix who is 5 years old. I have experience working with dogs at Folsom Dog Resort in Sacramento, CA where I helped take care of the animals that stayed in the kennels. I assisted in feeding, bathing, and playing with the dogs, as well as giving them their required medications and cleaning their kennels. I have experience from dog sitting for Rover.com when I was in Sacramento, and would like to pick it back up again now that I am in Seattle! Please contact me if you are interested! Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. Ever since I was born, there has been at least one dog in my home. Growing up, I had a lot of Golden Retrievers and Labs. Now, I have a lot of experience with Pit bulls and Boxers in my own home. I have volunteered for Happy Tails and have always had an interest in the local SPCA. I have worked with dogs at the Folsom Dog Resort and was constantly around all different kinds of dogs, ranging from the smallest Pomeranians to the largest Great Danes. While working there, I got a lot of experience with dog safety and learned a lot about the different personalities of some dogs. I was surrounded by professional knowledge of dog behavior and learned a lot about handling all kinds of breeds. Since I have graduated college at Sacramento State, I started a career in event planning, so by babysitting your pups, I can still do what I love the most, which is interacting with all kinds of dogs and lots of them! My experience administering medication Yes. At my old job at Folsom Dog Resort, we were trained how to administer meds to the dogs staying overnight in the kennels. My experience lies with administering pills and ointments. I have not dealt with shots.

This is the 2nd time I've used Leah. There were no issues.

Leah stayed with my dog for 5 nights. Overall, I think she did a great job. She was very accommodating to what I needed for my dog while I was away. She seemed very experienced and I even asked her to give my dog ear drops, which she was willing to do. Even though we did have one miscommunication, I would still use her in the future and plan to the next time I'm away.

Leah watched Hank, our special needs Boston, while we were on vacation. She was flexible with her schedule to meet Hank's/our needs and kept us updated on him the whole time. Our Chihuahua that hates people even liked her. She's definitely good people.

We have two pups and Leah watched our dogs while we were on vacation. Not only did she take them on walks and play with them while we were gone, but she made sure they were okay during a thunder and lightening storm, (which can make our pups a little scared at times) We came home to two very happy dogs who were, clean, had eaten their food, and that's all we could ask for! We would recommend Leah to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Two dogs can be quite a lot to handle and she did it with no problems! We give her two paws up!
