I have experience as a dog owner and foster. I adopted my dog after fostering for several years. She’s a great dog and loves hanging out with other pups. She would accompany me for boarding.

I have experience with extremely shy/timid as well as energetic dogs. I understand the importance of routine when establishing a new relationship and not pushing them past their comfort zone before they’re ready. Experiencing several dogs in such a short term arrangement gave me an appreciation for their personalities and an ability to take relationships at their pace. As someone who has lived in a household with cats and dogs before, I am able to catch on quickly to the pet dynamic and balance the needs of each animal.

I would want to know about how they do with strangers and other dogs since my dog will be with me. I don’t have breed preferences.
A typical day
I like to hike and would love to take a dog with me, if the owner is comfortable with it. I also enjoy walking through neighborhoods and would take dogs to the dog park for exercise and socialization.

I mostly work from home and have a very flexible schedule for potty breaks, walks, and playtime. There may be days where I need to be at work for half the day.
