Pet care experience
I've been dog walking/sitting since 2017 (individual clients, through Rover, and with Wag - 5 star rating). I love to spend time outside, in particular hiking. I am able to bring dogs on runs if requested. I work great with dogs of all sizes/ages 🙂 I have a lot of experience with puppies and house training, willing to work with new puppies on whatever their current training regimen is. While I currently have house boarding inactive, I’m happy to house sit or do various drop ins throughout the day at the house sitting rate (message me and we can discuss options). I treat my client’s pets as if they’re my own! My goal is to make their time with me as enjoyable as possible while you enjoy some time away stress free 🙂

I think Moonlight likes Leah better than us! He was immediately smitten. She took care of necessities like food and water exactly as needed. But she also made sure to play with this feisty feline so he didn't get bored. And the daily pictures were so much fun to see.
Leah did a great job watching my two cats! She is very communicative and knowledgeable of cat behavior.

My care “style” is to resemble as much normalcy for the pet as possible. Whatever he/she is used to at home with the owner is what I strive to keep consistent with myself (whether that be duration they’re left alone for, crate vs not crate trained, walk schedule, bathroom schedule, etc).

Please let me know ahead of times if he/she is good with kids or other animals, that way I am aware of limitations prior to sitting. Also if they have any quirks, that can be helpful to know as well! (Refusing to poop in the rain, afraid of thunderstorms, etc)
A typical day
I love hiking and going on walks/runs. For dogs who want to get extra energy out, I’m a big fan of going into the yard and playing fetch if they’re into it!

Availability
I am able to complete drop in visits on the weekdays after 4pm and anytime on the weekdays. Overnights 7 days/week but dog must be able to go 6-8 hours alone during the work week.
