Free Snuggles with Every Service!
Pet care experience
My husband and I have both had dogs our whole lives, and plan to keep this a continued pattern for the rest of our lives. We both live, breath and sleep with three rescue dogs of our own, and can't wait to share our compassion with YOUR furry friend! We are very flexible when it comes to special requests for your dog. We love to mix up the routes each walk, so that the dog doesn't get bored of the same old smells! We would be walking anywhere from the Mines of Spain, Grandview, the river walk, or maybe even out in the country. On top of taking care of your dog, whether it's in home, or walking them outside, we provide FREE snuggles! If you ever want to discuss our enthusiasm towards your pet, we are willing to meet up before the walk/home visit. I am the main dog sitter, and my husband is my "bow wow backup" in case I'm in a pinch! We love walking the dogs together, so you'll more than likely see both of us. We have three great rescue dogs, medium to large size that range in ages from 2 to 9 years. We have had lots of puppy experience, so patience for the little ones comes easy to us. We also have great experience with dogs in recovery of their health as well as disabled. Our dog, Maverick, had two knee surgeries last year, as well as a spine surgery that allowed him to recover from paralyzed in the hind legs to walking on his own! This has given us a stronger view on the life of our pets, helping us see it’s the little things that matter. Their lives are so short, so we want to help make the most of each day for your dog too! We are comfortable giving medications, and assisting with therapies or appointments if needed during our availability. Speaking of availability, it will vary quite a bit. I’m a full-time RN, and Brad works full-time in IT. This is really a way for us to get out and enjoy more doggos in the community, helping their humans with whatever needs arise for their care!
Reviews
I was in a pinch and needed to be gone longer than usual. She stayed a bit longer and made bc sure the dog had ample time to cool off and hydrate before getting back in kennels. It was a scorcher and Leah went to great lengths to make sure my pupper was well exercised, hydrated and cooled down. I couldn't have cared for him better if I was home to do it myself.

Information Leah & Brad T. would like to know about your pet
We prefer the dogs be comfortable with us before walking. We don't want to make your furry friend anxious! We’d love to have a meet and greet so that we can be acquainted and learn about the dogs tendencies and favorite things! We’d like to know about any health issues your dog might have that we should be watching for changes, or know their physical limitations. We also must know how your pal interacts with other dogs! We want the time we spend with them to be a great part of their day, so let’s make it about them! We are happy to keep routes in quiet, not-so-popular places, or if they like as much interaction as they can get, take them where they will encounter all sorts of people and dogs! Also would love a heads-up on any dietary restrictions. We have experience with strict diets as one of our own dogs has allergy issues. Let us know ahead of time so we can make sure they don’t deviate from the plan!

We love to mix up the routes each walk, so that the dog doesn't get bored of the same old smells! We would be walking anywhere from the Mines of Spain, Grandview, the river walk, or maybe even out in the country. If your dog has a favorite place to go, just let us know! Out of personal preference, we are not comfortable with taking your dogs to the dog park. I think the idea of a dog park is wonderful, and allows dogs with limited space to stretch their legs off leash. My concern is regarding other owners and lack of attention or awareness of their own pet. There is a lot of expectation that other owners are very responsible. That being said, I don’t feel comfortable risking your pets safety there under my care as some people are not be aware of dog behaviors, body language, etc. with their own dog. If you feel strongly that the dog park is the best place for your pup, maybe we can find a time when it’s empty to play where they can be completely safe under our watch. If we are stopping in for a home visit, we are willing to do whatever the dog enjoys most! Whether that be tug of war, fetch, snuggling, or anything between! Our own dogs range from smothering you with kisses and snuggles constantly to wanting to be out in the yard independently, so we are happy to do what makes your furry pal happy!
