Hiya! My name is Leah & I would love to watch your dog. Growing up I had two dogs myself & spent lots of time pet sitting both my aunts & brothers dogs whenever they went away. When I moved away to college dog sitting was my primary income. Fast forward to today I am back living at home with my family who have a large fenced in yard but no pets of our own. Our own pets have all passed & we miss them dearly. While it is no longer my main focus I still do dog sitting for my family & friends & love meeting new furry friends through Rover. I can usually confirm availability about 1 month in advance as I also have other jobs & watch dogs outside of the app. If you are looking 2-3 you may want to look elsewhere!

Leah was awesome. Last
Leah was great! She was available last minute for a week-long trip after our previous dog sitter plans fell through. I met with her two days before our departure and she was so warm and welcoming. I trusted her immediately to care for our 6 month old puppy. She texted us with updates while we were away and was flexible with drop off/pick up times. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Things I like to be aware of before watching your dog would be their feeding schedule, the potty schedule & anything medical they may need taken care of. I have experience watching dogs who need medication, ear cleaning or special dietary needs. It is also important for me to be aware of any anxiety or fears your dog may have so I can assure they feel safe in my home.
A typical day
Mornings usually involve a walk or some time out back to sniff around. Most pups are extremely playful in the mornings so if I have to leave the house that day I like to make sure they are stimulated before I go.

Availability
I work two part time jobs but am home plenty during the day. While pet sitting I make it a priority to walk & play with your pup. If I do happen to be gone for a long period during the day you don't have to worry as there is always someone at home to offer a potty break or play time.
