Pet care experience
I had a dog growing up and was the sole person taking care of it. I've been dog sitting/walking for over 10 years to many different size dogs of many different ages. I worked at a PetSmart for 3 years (one of my positions was a dog bather) and a Petsupermarket for a year. I graduated the Vet Tech program at Southern Regional Technical College and worked as a vet tech for many years. I have volunteered at Zoos and Animal Rehabilitation centers. I love and can take care of many different animals! I currently have 2 cats, a dog, 4 snakes, and a tarantula; but I’ve had many reptiles, amphibians, fish, and more. I am very detail oriented and animals always come first in my life. I came on Rover not to make extra money but because I can't get enough of animals!

Leah took such great care of my dog while I was away for a week! Ozzy seemed so happy and comfortable with her, and I loved receiving the photos!
Our babies love her and we are so comfortable knowing she is with them.
Would HIGHLY recommend Leah for any of your Rover needs! She is very responsive to messages and you can feel comfortable leaving your fur babies in her care. You can tell she genuinely LOVES animals and she loved on our babies like they were her own! Will continue to book Leah as long as she is available!

I like to know the dogs normal schedule. If they show aggression towards anything (other dogs, animals, people, cars, etc.). Their favorite activities and toys. If they have any health issues. I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
Depending on your preference, we can go to multiple different parks/dog parks around the city or simply stay around your neighborhood. We can play with all their favorite toys and play fetch. We can go running or do any of their favorite activities.
