100% genuine animal lover and devoted pet owner would love to look after your furry family when you are not around to do so. I have lots of energy and enthusiasm which I enjoy channelling into my passion for pet care. Doggy First Aid qualified, fully insured and enhanced DBS check in place. I have been looking after my own animals and the animals of others for years. I prefer doing 1-2-1 dog walking (or at least walking dogs from the same household) and am not keen on doing group dog walking. I like being fit, active and spending time outdoors, and as such I love going out in all weathers. I believe in providing a personal service which caters for your animals needs and respects their current routines.

Leanne has been an absolute god send for my animals. Truly reliable and extremely caring, a genuine animal lover at heart. I’ve been away many times in the past few years and she’s always been available to either pop in and feed/give some fuss to my babies or to care for them for longer periods. 5 years ago I was sick with a life threatening illness affecting my brain and spent 28 days in hospital. Leanne looked after my babies for the whole time I was in hospital. Without knowing they were being looked after by someone I trusted implicitly would have made my ordeal a thousand times worse. Leanne is always bubbly, cheerful and fun whenever we see her. We have known her for a few years now and she has always been kind, caring and reliable. Our puppy is always excited to see her for some fuss!

I need to know of any special needs or behaviours before I accept a booking e.g. anxiety, aggression, the way they are around other dogs, animals and children, certain triggers. I also like to know about the dog's history, training, ability to follow commands especially recall.
A typical day
I love spending time with animals, getting to know their unique characters and finding out what they like doing. I believe that every animal has their own character and preferences and I really enjoy getting to know them all - big and small! I simply enjoy building a good relationship and bond with them. I also know that it is vital to keep our pets happy, stimulated, safe and secure in a way that suits each animal.

Availability
I currently walk dogs Monday to Friday for my regular clients, and some weekends as and when needed by them. I also do support work - usually Thursday afternoons and Sundays 1100 to 1400. My diary varies each week so any Rover work request will need to be carefully considered before a commitment is made. This means I will probably need to ask owners for more detail on what is required to ensure their pets are looked after exactly as needed. I am based in Thatcham, West Berkshire, and this is the only area I cover.
