Pet care experience
I’ve raised 2 family dogs and 2 dogs of my own as puppies. I find a lot of joy and passion in caring for fur animals. I’ve worked with multiple dog trainers to make sure I am equipped to manage a variety of situations with dogs.

Lea Marie was an awesome sitter, if I could giver he more than 5 stars I would! She watched my 10-year old dog for a week and took such amazing care of him. She sent TONS of photos and videos of his stay and made sure to make him super comfortable and happy. She kept him active with multiple long walks a day and also went above and beyond by cooking some additional veggies for his meals. I would rebook her in a heartbeat!
So happy we had Lea take care of our little guy. We had 100% confidence he was in good hands and she kept us posted on him with plenty of pics. She also gave us some pointers that’ll help us be better pup-parents.

Lea Marie was so thoughtful and sweet when she watched Bejgli overnight. He had a great time hanging out with her 2 small pups and going on a hike. Lea Marie provides exceptional care! Highly recommend!

I give lots of care and attention to dogs and treat them like my own. I make sure to document via photos and videos of my client’s dogs and to communicate how they’re doing. I know that being away from your dog is really tough so I want to make sure you feel confident they are in good hands by making sure to give you constant updates throughout the day and during their stay. I have 2 dogs: 10 lb female toy poodle mix named Lily and a 23 lbs male mini double doodle mix named Kevin. Both of them have been spayed and neutered and have attended boarding and private lessons and are well socialized with other dogs. I will make sure to provide a clean, organized, and tidy space for your pup such as providing clean bedding, and clean bowls every time they are given food and water.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs such as dietary, etc. I try to be as organized and detail oriented as much as possible. I’d like to know if your dog is potty trained and if they are ok with being with my 2 dogs.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on a long walk around the lake which is around 3-4 miles or hikes on the weekends. I like to make sure they are not overstimulated with downtime in between walks. I live close to Lake Merritt so there’s lots of room for your dog to walk, greet other dogs, and go potty. I try to avoid the dog park due to safety reasons as I’ve consulted with multiple dog trainers but can make sure your dog is properly stimulated with lots of walks, puzzles, toys and play time.

Availability
I work remotely from home. I have a lot of time to care for your dog(s). I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the lake or nearby parks, playing with them, training them with positive reinforcement, giving them puzzles, and making sure they are able to get proper rest as well. I have 5 crates throughout my apartment for my own dogs to make sure they have their dedicated space to rest and eat in peace without competing for resources with your dog. You may request to have your dog crated during the day and when they’re sleeping if you’d like. I will try my best to follow your care instructions so that your dog doesn’t come back with any bad habits so feel free to let me know what their training regimen or schedule looks like.
