Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lea. I'm a graduate student at UNE studying Pharmacy looking for some extra money (and puppy snuggles, of course)! I’ve cared for my neighbors' dogs while they’re on vacation for many years, and have 3+ years experience on Rover. I don’t have a dog of my own, but I have and have had many companions! Cats, horses, fish, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, you name it! I also have experience with birds and rats. I would love to get to know your furry friend. I love taking dogs along with me for hikes, and I always take them to a local pet store for a new toy and/or treat during an overnight stay. My availability can vary due to school and work, but I typically know my schedule three weeks out, and I can be very flexible!

We have never left our 2 year old pit-bull, boxer mix with anyone, but instantly felt comfortable when we met Lea. We came home to a very happy and healthy pup! We would definitely recommend Lea!

Before caring for your dog I would like to know their personality, how they behave around other dogs, and if they have any allergies. I don't mind caring for any breed over another; from Chihuahua to St. Bernard, I'll treat them the same! When I stay overnight, I typically bring them on a hike (weather permitting) and to a pet store. Please let me if they’re comfortable with car rides - and if you’re okay with that!
A typical day
We can go for walks in the city or in a quieter area such as the Greenbelt trail. I love playing fetch and throwing a frisbee! I also come fully prepared with doggy treats.
