Pet care experience
I have been an active dog sitter for over 20 years and have loved welcoming new furry friends into my life. I only accept one pet family at a time, so your pet is always my #1 guest! If your dog likes to walk, I do a 2 mile loop every morning and for those that like to take it easy, there is a short loop around the neighborhood and a large deck for relaxing in the sun. Why I love dog sitting My earliest memory is of chasing after dogs at the beach and playing fetch with them. We were not allowed to have dogs growing up because of my brother's asthma, so I have been spending my adult life trying to make up for lost time. I have been dog sitting for 20+ years now and have experience with a large assortment of breeds and temperaments. My pet sitting experiences have truly given me the best job on the planet. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medication to cats, dogs and hedgehogs.

This is Buster's 4th stay with Lea. We love our dog - but we don't worry while on vacation because we know Buster is so well cared for. Lea is wonderful and sends lots of photos/updates and Buster clearly feels right at home -lots of sleeping, stretching, walks and belly rubs. Buster even waits by the door for her husband to return (he does this at our house too). We couldn't be happier with his care and have already booked Lea for our next vacation.
Our 14.5 year old senior pup, Kazie does not want to leave Lea’s house when we come pick her up. Our dog is so well cared for that she gets mad at us for her “vacation” at Lea’s coming to an end. Highly recommended this sitter!
Lea’s messages and updates along with pics are what made our day most enjoyable!! You can feel the love she has for furry babies thru her comments. It was our first time using Rover, and we found the best sitter, we will definitely be repeat customers. Rini was super happy and comfortable with Lea which made our time away from her worry free. Once again thank you Lea for the cute pic and updates.
This was my first experience using Rover and I could not be more happy with my experience. Lea watched Walter for the weekend and was excellent at keeping me up to date with all the fun they were having. I have so many new photos of him now! They went on walks, chased birds and enjoyed a morning at the dog park. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you again for taking such good care of our little boy.

I would like to know: feeding habits, bathroom habits, special dietary or medical needs, any separation anxiety issues, how vocal they are, whether they get along with children or other dogs. I do not have kids, but my nieces/nephew (ages 10, 6, 5 and 2) come over to visit often, so I prefer not accept any dogs that do not get along with children.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will walk around our neighborhood and along the San Lorenzo community center lake or the Marina Your dog's sleeping arrangement I try to replicate the same accommodations as you do, so depending on your pet's comfort they can either snuggle in my bed or on their pet bed or in the safety of their crate. Time I'll spend with your dog When pet sitting, I really try to limit any extra curricular activities so that I can spend as much time with your dog as possible. But I do work full time, so I will be in my home office from 9-5 with plenty of time for potty breaks and play time at lunch!
