Hi, my name is Lea (she/her)! I am a full-time pet sitter who specializes in senior care and with anxiety/ anxious behaviors. I’m experienced with administrating any medications (oral/liquid) , cushing disease/ bladder issues, using a wheelchair for dogs, etc. I am currently booked out for house-sitting till September 2024, but i have availability for DROP-INS and DOG-WALKING!!! As the warm weather is approaching, I’d love to help pet owners with letting their pets get out in the sun and have some good stimulation!! I am looking for clients in Clintonville, and Downtown Columbus area, as this will be most convenient for commuting for these services (dog walking & drop-ins)

Lea was excellent in her care of our 12 week old puppy. She was also very active in her communications and shared a lot of helpful and candid feedback about her behavior that assisted us in her training and routines.
Lea is always consistent, caring, attentive and an overall amazing sitter! She follows care directions perfectly and can handle shy/wary dogs easily. Our pup Yuri is a big fan of her!
Lea went above and beyond what we asked for or expected. We laid out thorough instructions for caretaking for our new puppy to make it as easy and helpful as possible and she still found a way to improve on her care. Lea added her own knowledge of animal husbandry so that our young puppy would feel safe and comfortable with her by feeding her treats inside her crate before releasing her. Lea is very knowledgeable of dogs, puppies, and cats. We got lots of feedback about our pup during her visits. We’ll certainly be asking for her help in the future.

One of the biggest things I learned after volunteering at shelters is to be over-prepared before handling a dog! I’ll be asking for all and any anxieties/triggers, how they are on a leash, handling food/ food aggression, play time/stimulation, vet info, etc. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and safe underneath my care always!!!!
A typical day
I always want to make sure your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible well you're away! I love to go over what makes your pet thrive whether that ranges from long walks/runs, puzzle treat games, pup cup drives, etc. I have the availability and ability to focus on your animals needs/wants, so, I LOVE to do so.
