Pet care experience
I prefer the company of animals. I understand dogs (I've watched training videos, read material, have ER locations on my phone), know how to communicate with them, what keeps them engaged (be it toys, or fetch, or exploring the area), what keeps them feeling safe, how to train them, what foods are okay, what meds are okay, etc. My place is set up for my dogs. I chose my location so Ronin would have squirrels to see during the day. :) I'm the goto person for both my friends and neighbors when it comes to caring for their dogs. I have a cpl crates, an octogon for larger play area, premium food, rawhide, premium treats, canned food, tennis balls...all sizes. Your dog wI'll be happy to know me.

Laya sent lots of photos, was great with my senior dog, and kept us updated the entire time we were gone.
Laya was awesome! She provided me a status update during the drop-in visit and pictures as well. My dog can be a little nervous at first and Laya took her time with my dog to make sure she was comfortable. Her patience with my dog was greatly appreciated. Laya was also very flexible with my schedule.
Laya Z. was wonderful with my dog. She made sure he received lots of cuddles and snacks. She made sure to give him plenty of distractions so he wouldn't feel any separation anxiety and was very patient with the both of us, which is a big plus. I definitely recommend leaving your pup with her.

I don't have breed preferences. I'd want to know their quirks so they're most comfortable while their away from home. I'd like to know if they're vaccinated and bathed, and friendly with other dogs. Definitely will want to meet and greet to make sure it's a comfortable match for all of us.
A typical day
Ella and I play chase with her toys. We used to take daily jogs on the nearby trail, and I let play while I exercised. Now we occasionally walk the neighborhood or visit our family to play with their cats and dogs.

I work from home, so it's easy to be present for our animals. We get up early, take time out in the afternoon to be outside, until we can take a walk after work.
