After being a dog dad to my 10 yr old min pin since he was weened at 6 weeks I have learned more about dog needs and communication than I have in my 36 years with people. I can say that our canine companions do represent the best in us and we should all strive to deserve the love and loyalty our dogs give unconditionally. That is how I approach them all. Respect their strength and devotion, teach when they ask to learn, give them space when things get too stimulating and endless belly rubs.
