Flexible and Experienced Pup Lover!
Pet care experience
Since the age of seven, dogs have been a major part of my life, and I’m a better person for it. Caring for my family’s dogs have taught me compassion, dedication, and responsibility more than anything other experience. There’s something so special about looking into the eyes of our four-legged friends and connecting with another living creature on this almost psychic level. Each pup has his or her own personality and habits, and I really enjoy getting to know each and every one like I do with people. I find that I’m suffering from a serious case of dog envy whenever I see one on the street, and maybe caring for your pup part-time will help me find some relief from this incurable condition. My first pup was a tiger-striped Pit Bull named Tyson. My second was another Pit Bull named Silver because of her grey fur, then a Pomeranian named Winter because of her snow-colored coat. Maybe naming dogs isn’t a specialty of mine, but nothing makes me happier than to be around our canine companions. Growing up, my dogs were truly my best friends. Even though I don’t have professional credentials as a dog caretaker, I’ve watched over many dogs for family members and friends over the years, and am comfortable with all breeds of different sizes and ages. Living in the city makes it difficult for me to have a dog of my own right now, but it’d be great to have the opportunity to be a temporary dog parent. Dogs bring such joy and I really miss having them enrich my life, and maybe I’ll stop staring at every dog I pass in the city. I’m currently in school, so my schedule isn’t exactly regular, but I have a lot of flexibility and can adapt my availability according your pup’s needs. I like to stay active and try to get outdoors as much as possible. I’m also hoping to enroll in pet first-aid classes so I can be better trained to handle all emergency situations. Your pup’s safety, health, and happiness would be my main concern, and I’d do everything in my power to make sure to provide the best, most reliable care. I take pride in living a balanced, healthy life, so you’ll never have to worry about your dog’s well-being. I’m a positive, respectful, and reliable individual, so you’ll never have to wonder how your pup is doing while you’re away.

Information Lawrence L. would like to know about your pet
The anxiety of leaving your beloved pet with a perfect stranger is real, so if you’d like to meet beforehand, I’d be happy to make it happen. The more information you can give me, the better care I’ll be able to provide. I want the very best for your pup and will do everything in my power to be the best surrogate. Whatever your dog’s diet or medical needs or triggers are, I’ll want to know about it. No piece of information is too small as far as I’m concerned. I’m also happy to provide regular updates via text, photos, or videos to give you peace of mind. I believe in open communication and transparency, so don’t hesitate to contact me.
A typical day
I live in the Financial District and am close to several dog parks. I realize it’s really important for your dog to get some off leash time living in the city, so I will make sure to visit as many grassy areas as possible. On the weekends, we could take longer trips to other parts of Manhattan like Central Park. If your dog is up for some hearty exercise, we could run together along the river. What I really miss is curling up with a furry buddy, so we’ll definitely have a lot of hang time on the couch or in bed. Again, it’s all about balance, so I’ll make sure your pup gets exercise as well as naps. Please help me alleviate my dog envy!
