Pet care experience
Betty and I have had cats and dogs most of our lives although currently there is no animal living inside the house now. My wife and I like to study animal behavior and I believe I have a special way with animals, especially cats. We even have a feral cat who we feed and lives on the porch most of the time. He even sleeps in a heated bed during the winter!

Lawrence was excellent with our senior dog. Lawrence took him to the park everyday of his stay and socialized him with other dogs. Our dog came back from Lawrence’s house happy and it was clean that the two had formed a bond. Would highly recommend Lawrence and definitely hire him again.
I am so very grateful that Larry was able to stay at our home and take care of our cat and dog over the holidays — with a *very* last-minute booking, no less! Our cat clearly really trusted him (which doesn’t always happen so quickly) and I really appreciated the efforts he took to play with the cat. Larry also went above and beyond in making sure that my very active dog got plenty of exercise. He took her to a variety of dog parks for hours at a time and I think she was living a much better life with Larry than she does with me! :) I got great updates when I was away and the house was clean and welcoming when I returned. I didn’t get to meet Larry (and Betty!) until the end of their stay, which further speaks to their flexibility — their original “meet and greet” was with the pet sitters I had staying at my home right before them. They were so friendly and professional, and had clearly bonded with my pets — I’d certainly recommend them to others. THANK YOU!

I need to know any special needs they have, how active they need to be, how they like to play, if they get along with other dogs (there are alot of dog walkers in my neighborhood) or maybe even their favorite music! Also you need to supply your pet's favorite food, treats, dog bed, blanket or toys. It makes them feel more at home to have familiar things with their own scent.
A typical day
We have a great neighborhood for walking dogs. There is grammar school nearby with a nice big field where we can play fetch. If your pet is car friendly we can go to Millenium Park in West Roxbury or maybe the Arnold Arboretum! Some dogs need to run and the dog park is a great place for me and your dog to get some exercise!

Availability
Betty is retired and I work mostly from home on the computer and I also do audio engineering on some nights so I would be home most of the time with your pet. Dogs especially can get anxiety when left alone in new surroundings.
