When I met Lawrence, he seemed very kind, genuine, and seemed to love animals and dogs. I was going back home for the holiday and scheduled to have him come to my home twice a day for twenty to thirty minutes each visit. He was to stay with my dog, Rex, let him out, feed and water him, and spend time playing with him. I left for the holiday feeling optimistic and assured I was leaving my baby in good hands. Sadly, that is not what happened. I came home the next week to my house and there was dog poo on the floor. (Rex has only ever had two accidents with me when I didn't get home in time to let him out and he couldn't hold it. So this is not a common occurrence by any means). I shrugged it off and chalked it up to a fluke. Then I noticed he did not have ANY water. When I gave him some he was SO thirsty. He drank 2-3 bowls full of water at once and continued the next three days to drink that amount which is not normal behavior at all. At this point I was thinking, perhaps something happened. This thought was again reinforced when the next day he went to the bathroom outside and had a large amount of BLOOD in his poo. Of course, I started to panic. It was not a shock when my roommate came to me later that day to tell me he spent most of the break trying to take care of Rex because Lawrence was neglectful. He said every time he saw Lawrence come over, he would leave within 5 to maybe 10 minutes at the most. He did not allow Rex enough time to go to the bathroom, so he was having accidents in the house almost every day that my roommate was forced to clean up. This, combined with what I witnessed the day I came home lead me to believe that Lawrence shockingly did not water Rex enough, didn't allow him enough time outside to go to the bathroom, and was causing him to have blood in his poo! Rightfully so, I was furious. I contacted Rover support and filed an incident report. Lawrence's response stated that none of this happened, despite all of the evidence otherwise. He decided he did NOT need to refund me any of the sitting fee, even though he did not meet any expectations we agreed upon. Rover, handled the matter on their side with consideration and respect. But their procedures are set up so the sitter has the power to decide to refund or not refund for unqualified care. If you need a sitter, buyer beware.

Lawrence is a true dog lover! He has one of his own and daily feeds, walks, and plays with his dog Grace. He is constantly loved by many dogs, one of which being my dog, who always greets Lawrence with lots of kisses. Lawrence is always happy to help out with any type of dog and will be a great catch!
