Pet care experience
I have raised dogs around horses, cats, goats, chickens, cows and people. My 2 dogs and 1 cat (currently) are all rescue "kids". I love the interaction and the different personalities. Seems like animals come to me. I volunteered at Denkai and always donate to The Cat Rescue in Ft. Collins. I would love to become a part of your pet's friend. I have all the gear to walk in all kinds of weather as we had a horse boarding stable for 20+ years. I feel the animal comes first as they are not here as long as we are and we get to have many of them in our lives.

Laurie is an exceptional dog sitter! She has helped us over the years taking care of our dog buddies. She's also taken care of our horse and kitty friends. I have never worried because she loves animals and treats them like her own. She knows dogs, she knows their behavior cues, she's engaged with them and they love being with her. I highly recommend Laurie to anyone looking to have good quality, engaged care by someone who truly knows dogs.
I have known Laurie Schaaf since May 1997 when she owned an equine boarding facility. I have personally seen how she has cared not only for her animals but how she has cared for other peoples animals. As well as animals that didn't have "people" to care for them. Her dedication to the welfare and care of HORSES, DOGS and CATS is admirable. Yes, she is reliable and responsible as was evident when she evacuated my horses when she lived miles away. Laurie's care of animals runs deeper than "responsible and reliable". It is Laurie's love of animals that I respect and makes me proud to call her my friend.
Laurie has been working with animals for as long as I can remember. She sincerely cares for them and treats each one like it was her own. From ponies to pugs, Laurie is a responsible animal caregiver and I would put all of my trust (and have!) for her to take care of my pets. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter and pet caregiver!
