Hi there! Whether it's time to play, hike, walk, swim, cuddle, sleep or eat, we want your dog(s) to feel at home with us! I've had my own cats and dogs of all sizes all my life. I've volunteered at animal shelters throughout my life and have passed my love for animals down to my two daughters (ages 9 & 11) who are excited to play and snuggle with pup friends. Together we'd love to love your pet in our home, and/or have your pet accompany us on a hike/walk/swim!

Once again, Laurie and her family treated Liam like a king! When we pulled up to their home, Liam started squealing and chirping joyfully (which is not typical). He feels at home there (and doesn't want to leave). Laurie has a special gift with all animals. She creates a welcoming and festive space for our loved ones while we travel. Pets live a very happy life at our house... half of our living room space is dedicated to the comfort of pets with a large dog crate, four tiered cat tree and many different types of pet beds to choose from throughout our home. Outside we have a fenced-in grass back yard with a separate area that includes a fenced-in pool. Our four-year-old mid-sized pup, Leia, loves to hang out and play with friends and we make daily trips to hike/walk/swim in areas where they can be off leash.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of including: How does your dog do off leash? (We only take pups who walk well off leash) Has your dog ever shown aggression? If yes, why? Does your dog get car sick? How your dog does with kids? (I have two daughters ages 9 & 11) How your dog does with cats? (We have three cats) Does your dog mark in the house? (We do not take dogs who mark in the house)
A typical day
WALKS: We walk dogs off leash in areas where they can be free to sniff and play with their pack friends. A typical walk/hike/swim is a minimum of 30 minutes (horrible weather), but usually an hour + depending on the dogs :) Our primary pack walk occurs in the late morning. If you live along our drive we are able to pick up/drop off your pup(s) for free. If not, a small fee would be added for pick-up and/or drop-off depending on your local. If your dog does not walk well off leash we are not the right sitters for you. If you are unsure, we could do a meet and greet to test it out. DAYCARE/BOARDING: While with us, your dog will get lots of love and attention in a safe environment. At drop off our pups will greet each other and play in our fenced-in back yard. We’ll head out for an off leash hike/walk/swim in the late am. When we get back it's cuddle and rest time. When my girls get home from school there will be lots of play and cuddle time, and after dinner we will go for a shorter walk before bedtime. Also, we love to send pics/updates to show you how much fun your pup is having and how comfortable he/she is as part of our pack so you can have piece of mind while away :)

I'm a stay-at-home mom so am available to be with your pet throughout his/her stay. I have no employer so drop-off and pick-up times can be flexible (please note that our primary walk currently occurs daily around 10:30 am) - just contact me to discuss!
