Pets are blessings! They provide unconditional love and teach us invaluable lessons if we pay attention. I can't imagine a life without our pets! I'm sure you feel the same about your furry, feathered, and scaled family members. I'm very picky about the care our pets receive and will treat your babies as if they're my own. Services are provided in the comfort and safety of your home where every effort is made to maintain your pet's routine and feeling of security. I have over 40 years of experience owning dogs and about 15 years owning cats. Maine Coons are my favorite. I currently have four dogs - a 4-year-old male and a 3-1/2 year-old female German Shepherd Dog, and two senior dogs - a 12-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix, and an 10-year-old Pitbull. In addition to my current dogs listed above, I have owned Beagles, Boxers, Black Labs, a Norwegian Elkhound, and a Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier. I have also owned small pets, including parakeets and lovebirds, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, and snakes. I also have experience providing pet care services for Pugs, a Huskey, a Staffordshire Terrier, and a German Shepherd. Last year my husband and I successfully helped an Australian Shepherd that was stolen from Texas and taken to Tamaqua get reunited with his owners in Texas. We picked up the pup in Tamaqua (with the support of Tamaqua police) and provided transport to Lebanon where we transferred him to the person transporting him back to Texas. Thankfully, he arrived home safely. I'm available 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm (start of visit) beginning Saturday, February 8th. Until then, I'm available on week days from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and 6:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday for drop-in pet sitting and dog walking. Whether your dog enjoys high-energy walks, leisurely walks, hanging out in your yard, or cuddling on the sofa, I would love to provide undivided attention and love while you're away. I'll focus on your pets during our time together, giving them my undivided attention, lots of love, and assuring their safety. I will play with your pets and engage their favorite activities such as fetch, tuggy, or something else. If you have senior dogs who can't go on walks, I'll let them out in the yard and play with them. For your dog's safety, I don't walk multiple dogs at the same time, unless they are from the same household. I also won't take your fur baby to dog parks or allow them to interact with other dogs, since these things can result in fights and transmission of disease.
