I am a retired teacher who has had dogs all of my life. I will take excellent care of your furry four legged babies with plenty of attention and cuddles! I currently have a mini schnauzer and a golden retriever who live with my daughter in WA. I have had memberships with the Kenai KenneI Club and PenDog and our dogs are trained in Canine Good Citizen, obedience, and agility. I travel between the Kenai/Soldotna area and WA every 2-4 months so you will need to check my calendar to see if I'm available during the time you will be gone.

Laurie has watched our jack russell terrier, Riley, for us on many occasions, including a few overnight to week-long stays while we were out of town. I never had to worry about Riley at all, as I knew that she was in EXCELLENT hands! The love and care that Laurie has for all dogs shows in how fun-loving, sweet, and attentive she is to their needs. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
Laurie did a fabulous job caring for Charlie, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, when she house sat for us. She exercised him well, gave him lots of attention and even took him to dog appropriate outings in the community for socialization. She texted several photos to us to show he was fine and even included one of him surrounded by treats and toys on his birthday! I think Charlie felt he was on vacation just as much as we were. I highly recommend Laurie's services as a dog sitter, as well as a house sitter!
I can simply say you cannot go wrong assisting Laurie in becoming your next dog sitter! She has cared for my home several times and was always responsible, caring and thoughtful. She was attentive to my home situation while I was away, and upon my return, I found things not only well cared for, but noticed she went above and beyond expectations. I have had the privilege of knowing Laurie Moon for over 15 years. We found that in addition to loving our professon as educators, we also had mutual interest of loving and spoiling our dogs. I recently took a 3 week trip and asked Laurievif she would be interested in being my house sitter as well as Schnauzer sitter. I fear that my dogs may never want me to return home! Laurie came the night before she was to begin her time in our house with a list of questions. She' felt it was important to "bond" with the dogs while I was still home. By the end of the evening, the dogs were very comfortable with her. Laurie stays in constant contact with updates on the dogs and house. She even sends photos. She has made my traveling a joy and worry free! Laurie, you are the best!
