Pet care experience
I am a gigantic animal lover. To me, pets are family, and their positive impact on our lives is immeasurable. They deserve our respect, love, and the best that we can give them, always. I have calm, assertive energy that let's dogs know that I am in control, but I also love to get down in the dirt and play. I love walking with them and seeing them explore. I love caring for their needs, even if they are special and complicated. I will give them the tenderness and care they require, the leadership they desire. I love cats, too! Due to my husband's allergies, we cannot have them live with us, so any kitty time is a treat to me! I am willing to care for any animals with instruction: bunnies, hamsters, mice, birds, guinea pigs, lizards, goats, chinchillas, gerbils, fish, turtles...anybody except snakes. They are the only creature that frightens me.

Laurie is a great walker/sitter! She is very responsive and sweet with animals. My baby boy has a blast when she comes to visit and is in such caring hands. Will definitely be rebooking with Laurie :)

Laurie is a dog whisperer who will give your pets the love and attention they deserve. When she takes care of ours (who have separation anxiety) while we are out of town, we come home to very happy and relaxed pups. Laurie has all the qualities you'd want in a sitter- she's trustworthy and pays attention to the important things, while creating a calm and comfortable environment for your pets. Whatever your dog needs- medication, exercise, belly rubs- she'll make sure it happens the way you'd want it to.
Laurie has been a long trusted pug sitter for our beloved family member Furgee. It's a huge relief to leave your pet in the care of a highly responsible and caring sitter! I would recommend Laurie for anyone who needs a pet sitter! She is wonderful!

In my own home, my pug Rocco Bubbles has a regular routine of belly scritches and kisses, exercise, play, social interaction, 3 meals a day, treats, tricks, snuggles and a safe, warm, comfortable bed where he loves to sleep for hours-haha!
Information Laurie M. would like to know about your pet
I am not afraid of any breeds. I would like to know if your dog has any specific likes/dislikes and if they are friendly with other dogs, as I like to walk on trails when possible. I do not want to care for dogs that are aggressive toward other dogs or people. I want to know anything you want to tell me about your dog, so I can make them as comfortable as possible, and maybe even win their love!!
A typical day
I love to go to the Commons and Hickory Hills and walk the trails. I would take your dog to the beach, or to the dog park. If they have a favorite trail or urban route, let me know! I also can play fetch or whatever play activity your dog enjoys. If you have a cat, I am a master with a with a mouse on a string!

I am happily available most of the day, and some of the evening during the week, and am occasionally on weekends for visits, or walks.
