Pet care experience
Hi! I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I am a retired nurse, and I was a stay home-mom for 20 years. My two kids have both gone away for college, so now my only "children" are my two friendly terriers. I am also a proud "grandmom" to my first "grand-dog, Muffin. I have lifelong experience caring for a vast menagerie of pets including chinchillas, rabbits, and guinea pigs and fish. My daughter is currently a Veterinarian and through the years I have certainly learned a lot from her. Our genuine love of animals is clearly a family trait! I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and pets continuing to do what I love.

Laurie was so great with my dog, Bode! Bode tends to run through his invisible fence, so I have been refraining from walking him in my neighborhood. Laurie fed Bode his dinner, and then spent the rest of the time giving him lots of love and attention (and throwing a ball in the backyard!). Thanks so much, Laurie!
Laurie has been my go-to sitter for my dog since I've owned her and has watched my dog regularly over the past 3 years. There is no one that I trust more than her for my dog's care. She is one of the most responsible, caring individuals that I know, and every dog that she meets loves her! I sometimes think that my dog is happier to see Laurie than she is me! In addition to watching my pets, Laurie also has 2 dogs of her own, and has spent her whole life around dogs, making her a very knowledgable and experienced owner and sitter. I can promise that your dog will be loved and well cared for if you choose Laurie as your dog sitter. I 100% reccomend her services for your pets!
Laurie would be a great dog sitter because of her the affinity for dogs she has. I have been able to see this first hand as over the summer she will occasionally watch my dog Muffin. She will take Muffin on walks right on time, feed her accordingly and love her as if she were her own. Muffin feels part of the “pack” when she visits due to Laurie’s care and love for Muffin and all dogs.
