Pet care experience
My name is Laurie, I am an Elementary School teacher in Cary. I have loved dogs for many years. I had a Beagle named Buster when I was a kid. I was also a live-in nanny where we had two dogs and a cat. I am in love with Golden Retrievers, but love almost any breed that loves to snuggle and is well behaved. I have a Chihuahua Italian Greyhound mix named Penny. She is one spoiled, yet well behaved little girl! I've been doing long term pet care for several years and enjoy bringing Penny with me to jobs. I am currently available for drop in visits and will expand to in home care during the summer. I look forward to meeting your furry family member!

Laurie has helped in the care for our two dogs and cat for more than five years now and I couldn't think of a better person to watch over them while we're away. I prefer to know the dog's breed, temperament, and age before accepting a job. I prefer fairly mellow dogs that enjoy snuggling and lots of love. I prefer not to sit for pit bulls or large bread dogs.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy lots of snuggles and love, when the weather is nice, I will walk your dog as well. Dogs must be leash trained in order for me to walk them.
