Pet care experience
My husband, Steve and I both grew up with dogs in our homes. After we were married our family has had 3 dogs, two cats, numerous hamsters and parakeets. Right now we have no pets in our home, but love dogs, especially. Our dogs all lived long happy lives with us and we still miss them. We care for our daughter's dog and family friends bring their dogs to our home frequently. We enjoy walking our dogs and having them around us in the house. We only care for 1 family dog(s) at a time. We want your pup to feel comfortable so you may bring any treat, toy, or bedding that they normally use. We are happy to follow your instructions and care techniques.

Laurie and Steve are great. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. We don't leave our sweet girl Lucy very often but now I am very comfortable knowing she will be well taken care of when we do have to leave her. They even sent us a few photos of her while we were away. Highly recommend them!

Laurie & Steve deserve more than the five stars I can give them! They did a wonderful job taking care of Astro. I love that they made sure both Astro & I felt comfortable leaving him there and were so helpful in working around my schedule. They also took careful note of Astro’s usual schedule and made sure they treated him like I would from feeding, to walks, to treats & toys. I know Astro had the best time with them! I highly recommend Laurie & Steve to anyone and will definitely book with them in the future!
This was a first time leaving our precious Lacy with anyone. But we had to bite the bullet and make arrangements with a Rover sitter to care for our precious Multi-Poo for an upcoming vacation and also a day that we had house guests recently. Steve and Laurie were amazing. So loving and compassionate. Lacy was a rescue and we love her very much. We have had her for 3 years and have never left her with anyone. Well... she was very comfortable with Steve and Laurie and she was very well taken care of. We have a cruise planned in November of this year and we plan to have Laurie and Steve take care of her several times from now until then to make sure Lacy is VERY comfortable with them for our November 2022 cruise.

We would like to have a picture of your dog. We should know the temperament of the dog and we would like to know if the dog is familiar with young kids, if our grandson's are going to be here. We need to know if there are any medical restrictions or medications to be given. Please do not bring aggressive dogs.
A typical day
We will be able to walk around our property and neighborhood. We can roam them around our 1 acre lot and they can lounge on the patio with us. We have two grand boys (3 and 5) who love to play with dogs (they have been around dogs all their lives). The boys are not always here but come often on weekends
