Pet care experience

(PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Hi friends, In light of the spike of recent canine respiratory illnesses throughout the U.S., we are doing our due diligence to remind folks that we request that all dogs that come into our care are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Thanks for your understanding as we want to protect your pup, our pup, and any other fur friends that come to stay in our home. ❤️) We are thrilled to be part of the Rover team! As long-time, passionate, experienced dog caregivers, we would love to care for your furry family member. Love, snuggles, treats, daily walks, responsible/experienced care, genuine attention, and of course baths when needed are what we always provide for our sweet Rover pups and their owners. Lauri and Erin have a flexible schedules working from home, which makes pet sitting a perfect opportunity for them. We have an Irishgoldendoodle, Denali Cheerio Jayne, who loves other dogs! Recently, (April 2022) Lauri relocated back to Nebraska from Oregon after having been away for about 20 years, and now lives in the Rockbrook Village area with her wife and our three pre-teen and teenage kiddos. Coming from the outskirts of Bend, Oregon which was a beautiful wooded half acre property with a fenced yard, to life in the city, has been an adjustment for sure. We loved providing care for pups at our home in Bend and miss that socialization and connection. Working from home and a flexible work set-up allows Lauri to work from anywhere with good internet access and to take on housesitting Rover reservations as well as boarding reservations. We have years of experience with all ages and abilities. We know what it's like to worry about your precious fur baby, especially those that are older or more vulnerable, who are puppies newly experiencing their world, or those that have special needs for that matter, and we will send you photos and updates to keep your mind at ease while you are away. We find immense joy in caring for these blessed animals, and truly love spoiling each one as if they were our own. We look forward to meeting you and your dog, and providing you with peace of mind while you're at work, vacation, or other adventures and becoming you're dog's new best friend . . . second only to you of course . . . maybe . . . we do spoil them quite a bit :)

Our Jamie is an active puppy. Laurie did an amazing job of appreciating his energy, while also corralling him. I really liked that her comments to me showed an understanding of our pup as well as puppies. Would definitely use her again.

Lauri and Erin have been amazing! I’ve been in the area for work the last 3 months and they have provided excellent daycare services for my boy. They are attentive, communicative, and take great care of my Maverick. I would recommend them a thousand times over. Maverick and I will definitely miss them.

Lauri's goal when housesitting, is to treat your space and your fur baby with the highest degree of love and respect. Our home is pet friendly. We have a large fenced back yard, a nice fenced front porch, and a doggy door to the back yard. Our family is very dog friendly and we seek to incite your pups in as part of our family while they stay with us.

Please provide clear instructions and provisions (food, medication, etc.) for any special needs or things we need to look out / prepare for. We gladly care for all ages abilities, please make known ahead of time any aggressive behaviors and triggers either environmental or otherwise that may exist for you dog. Please also bring the food and leash/harness that works best for your dog. In order to provide boarding services, your dog must be: 1. Up to date on vaccinations. 2. It is rare, that we will both need to leave home during the work day, but if we do, it will usually be for just a few hours, and sometimes will bring your dog with us (as long as you and your dog are comfortable with that). 5. A typical day

Denali and I have really enjoyed meeting new friends at the local dog parks and at pet-friendly local events. We would love to discover trails and other outdoor recreation spaces as adventuring is our jam! At our house we have plenty of space for multiple dogs to run and play both inside and outside.
