I’m a very playful and energetic person and I think dogs can sense that and feel a bond. My online nickname has been jollypooch since the internet began and I really am a jolly pooch! I love the attention from animals but I also know when to leave them be (grumpy cats for example) I grew up with an Irish Setter and a Springer Spaniel, plus cats and budgies, which was an important part of my childhood, shaping me up as animal person. I've taken care of friends and families dogs, always up for the early morning walks and poop scoopin'. I’ve rescued and fostered a cat too, which was one of the most rewarding accomplishments to rehabilitate a frightened animal to a confident, cuddly and happy cat. I hope to rescue and foster more animals in the future when I have a more appropriate home with a garden.
