I miss having a dog of my own so love playing with and taking care of other people's. I grew up with a corgi-mutt named Lucky who had a strong personality for all of his 16 years. Because of him I have a soft spot for both corgis and mutts but have never met a dog that I didn't like! In the past few years I have dog-sat for several acquaintances and friends and I can frequently be found dog watching in the park. I am a graduate student so have a flexible schedule and I also love spending time outside and exercising, which goes pretty well with walking/running dogs. Lauren has come over to take my dog Beau on quite a few walks and Beau gets excited every time he see's her. Beau is a large German Shepard but since day one Lauren has been comfortable with him and has no problems when she takes him on walks even though he can be a bit forceful at times. I would recommend Lauren in a heartbeat, you can tell that she truly cares about animals.
We continue to miss Lauren, since she has moved away from our area to live in Philadelphia! Lauren took care of our 6-year old Border Collie,Toby, on an as needed basis for walks/play time and feeding. Toby loved Lauren from the moment they met; Lauren seemed to know instinctively what Toby wanted and how to communicate with him. Lauren was extremely responsible in keeping her time commitments and providing loving care to Toby. I was equally comfortable leaving a key for Lauren as I am for members of my family, and the door was always properly locked when I returned home. At times, Lauren stopped by when I was home, and Toby's excitement and enthusiasm were a testament to the relationship Lauren established with him. Lauren clearly loves dogs and told me that being allowed to take care of Toby was a gift to her! I highly recommend, without hesitation, Lauren for dog sitting and dog walking.
Lauren has taken care of my two dogs on multiple occasions. I cannot say enough great things about Lauren. She is extremely responsible and reliable. My dogs are my life and I don't trust them with many people, but I can always rely on Lauren to take care of them. She has stayed overnight with my dogs as well as taken care of them throughout the day. I fully recommend using her services!
Lauren is a fabulous sitter! She watched our dog and cat for a week when my husband and I went out of the country. Our dog has allergies and requires medicine occasionally. Of course she had an outbreak right before our trip and Lauren handled all of her medicine and special treatments flawlessly. She sent me text and picture updates and let us know how everything was going throughout our trip. I would trust Lauren with our high maientance dog and cat any day!
