Pet care experience
Animals, especially dogs, have been a part of my life from the day I was born. Growing up, I had a great dane who was my best friend because I was an only child until I turned 10. When the great dane passed away, my family got a yorkie. The yorkie still lives with my parents today along with a lab/golden retriever mix. I currently have an 11 month old goldendoodle who sleeps with me every night! I absolutely love his unique and childish personality. I would love to get another puppy ASAP! When I was in high school, my next door neighbor would always have me dog sit their lab while they were out on vacation. Within the past 4 years, every year, I have dog sat for two different couples for a week at a time (at their houses) while they have gone on their vacations. I feel that I am a responsible and caring dog-sitter who loves the company of these furry companions as much as they would love my company.

Lauren was a pleasure to work with. She was dependable, responsive to our inquiries, left the house in the condition she found it, and took great care of our dog Tanner! I knew when Tanner brought her his favorite toy at our first meeting everything would be just fine!!!!
As a 1st timer on Rover, I was apprehensive about leaving my dog at the house over Memorial Day weekend, but Lauren put all my concerns to rest. My wife and I were very pleased with Lauren's timeliness and updates about our golden retriever. The dog was tired from her walks when we got home and was happy to see Lauren after her stay! Highest recommendation to Lauren for dog sitting.
Lauren is truly a gem; she is always dependable, eager to help and not to mention my dogs love her as much as she loves them. We have no children only furry babies and that means we do not just let anyone sit with them. She is our go to dog sitter for our annual vacation (spending the night, the whole week with our babies). She goes out of her way if we ask her to do other dog duty's as well, and even does the "non dog duty's". She takes time, and gives our babies the loving they need when their parents are not there! Lauren has watched my dog, Frank, a few times now and she is great with him! Every time I ask her to watch him she is always more than happy and willing to. Several times I have come home to both her and my dog cuddling together on the couch. Every time Frank sees her he becomes very excited, which reassures me that she takes great care of him while I am away!
