Lauren did a wonderful job with our 10-year-old Boxer mix, Bernie! She took him on long walks and gave him lots of loving (evidenced through the adorable photos). She sent very regular updates and terrific photos of their time together. We also were thrilled that the house was left in impeccable shape and she even put laundered used sheets, towels. We can't wait to have her take care of Bernie again!

Lauren was great to work with. Her communication before and during her stay with my dog was clear and helpful. She was great with Cooper, who was still recouperating from surgery and made sure he got all the exercise and attention he needed while I was away. And, everything was just the way I left it when I got back. Lauren was helpful, thoughtful, and responsible and I know Coop appreciated it too.

Lauren was great! She loved our dog (and our dog loved Lauren) - they seemed to hit it off right away. Lauren was great at sending us plenty of pictures of our pooch while we were away, and was very patient with her on walks. We had a bit of a complicated hand-off between sitters and Lauren was really good about coordinating with the second sitter to care for our dog. We are really grateful to have found Lauren and would absolutely hire her again to sit for our girl. Thank you!

My husband and I were a day away from leaving for our wedding in Colombia, and our dog sitter canceled on us. I reached out to Lauren about the dates; she confirmed she was available and stopped by our house the very next morning to meet the dogs and learn about their care. We could tell immediately that she was comfortable with them, and they were comfortable with her. Lauren spent three days and nights with our dogs, sending constant updates on how they were doing throughout her stay. We couldn’t have been happier with how things went. Lauren was punctual, responsive, and attentive, especially towards the additional special care required for our 9-year-old shepherd. Thank you for everything, Lauren! ❤️

A typical day

Fetch: Playing a game of fetch with a ball or a frisbee is a classic favorite among dogs. It's a great way to burn off energy and provide exercise. Tug of War: A friendly game of tug of war with a rope or a sturdy toy can be a fun and interactive way to bond with dogs. Hide and Seek: Hide treats or toys around the house or yard and encourage the dog to find them. This engages their sense of smell and stimulates their problem-solving skills. Agility Course: Set up a mini agility course using cones, tunnels, jumps, and weave poles. This not only provides physical exercise but also mental stimulation. Water Play: If you have access to a dog-friendly pool or beach, many dogs love to swim and play in the water. Ensure their safety and supervise them closely. Nature Hikes: Taking dogs for a hike in a nearby park or trail allows them to explore new scents and environments. Just ensure they're on a leash where necessary. Playdates: Arrange playdates with other friendly dogs to encourage social interaction and provide an outlet for energy. Interactive Toys: Toys like puzzle feeders or treat-dispensing toys can keep dogs occupied for hours as they work to get their reward. Cuddle Time: Dogs also need downtime. Spend some quality time cuddling and petting them, which can be just as important as physical activity. Doggie Ice Cream: In hot weather, make dog-friendly ice cream by freezing treats or a mixture of yogurt and peanut butter in ice cube trays. Dog Parks: Visit a dog park where dogs can run and play off-leash, provided they are well-socialized and comfortable in that environment. Treat Hunt: Hide treats around the house or yard and encourage the dog to search for them. This can be a fun and mentally stimulating game. Bubble Chasing: Blow dog-safe bubbles and watch as the dog excitedly chases and pops them
