Pet care experience
When I was a teenager I began caring for my neighbors' homes and pets while they were away. It has been very fulfilling knowing I am trusted with people's animals, both then and now. I began expanding my pet sitting to outside of the neighborhood after being asked to care for my close friend's chihuahua puppy, Olive. While caring for Olive, I realized she was not hearing properly and I was able to help my friend find proper care for her pup. Since increasing the amount of clients I provide services to, I have cared for several different breeds of dogs. I love pet sitting for dogs (and cats) of all shapes and sizes. I have personally owned several large breed dogs, and am comfortable caring for large and extra large dogs. I have experience taking care of puppies, senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, and more than 3 dogs at once. It is my goal to help your pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible while you are away. I aim to provide the same amount of love and care to others' pets as I give my own!

Lauren was amazing. She took very good care of my dogs and kept us updated on what was going on everyday we were gone.
Lauren was a wonderful pet sitter for my pup, Murphy. She visited him every other day for a mid day visit. She made sure he got exercise and went to the bathroom. She asked permission to take him to a dog park which I thought was very important. She would send me updates with pictures and sometimes a little video after each visit. I knew Murphy was in good hands while I was away.
Lauren is one of the most loving, caring people I've ever met. She has a very big heart, not only for people but for animals as well. She is forever sending me pics or telling me something new about her own pets, Chewie and Luke. She just adores them. She is VERY responsible and wise beyond her years. I've already let her know when we are out of town, I want her taking care of our kitties, too. She has even been named the god-mama of our newest edition to the family, Loki. Lauren is Loki's Auntie LaLa. :-) Coming from someone who was a former vet tech, I don't take naming someone to watch over my pets lightly. I know what it takes, and that's a big heart and a good head on your shoulders. Lauren has all of this and more. Her bubbly personality is contagious. You can rest easy knowing Lauren is taking care of your fur babies.
Lauren has been a blessing for me and my dog Olive! She has gone above and beyond to help me take care of my little stump (olive) while I am at work. She is very flexible, responsible, reliable, and of course loving to Olive. I can't thank her enough for all she has done for us. I know she will be just as wonderful to other families!

Another important piece of information for me to know is what makes your pet excited, nervous, anxious or agitated. This will allow me to provide personalized care for each pet.
A typical day
I love to walk through nature with the pets I sit. Whether that means walking through the neighborhood, down nature trails, around ponds or lakes, etc. Whatever fun activity your dog enjoys, I am happy to do! That includes belly rubs, fetch, tug of war, and anything else your fur baby loves to do!
