Despite being young, I have always had pets at home, was always the go-to pet-sitter in my neighborhood as a kid, and even worked at a respected pet-boarding center in Columbia for about a year. Therefore, I am very comfortable with animals (dogs in particular), and I know how to handle myself around pets that are sensitive, energetic, young, anxious, etc. Following my pet-boarding days, I began pet sitting regularly for people who’s pets I cared for at the pet center, and found that it’s an incredible way to have fun at a fulfilling and active job. I love getting to meet new animals and having the ability to make their lives better while their families are away. While pet care is probably not going to be my full time job forever, it is much more rewarding than any other job I’ve had, and I enjoy the time in which this is an option for me. Moreover, I am doing this because I truly love animals and they deserve to stay in a comfortable place where they are loved (rather than in a kennel surrounded by countless other pets). I promise that I will care for your pet as if it was my own and do all that I can to ensure their safety because that’s what everyone hopes when they have to leave their companion behind.
