Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lauren :) I've grown up with pets- I have lived with dachshund's, Pit Bulls, Terriers, Shar Pei's, Golden Retrievers, Miniature Pinscher's, and Shih Tzu's. I have also lived with various cats, including Red Spotted and Maine Coon. I also have a few years of professional experience, as I animal-sat in various cities since the age of 15 (a few in Texas, Saint Louis, and Chicago). I understand that all animals have their own personalities and needs, and am experienced with handling kittens and puppies, as well as elderly animals! I am used to giving medicine, both oral and in food. I respect boundaries, but also know when to hold my ground. I dont mind playing rough, love bites, or vocal animals! I am also a runner of 8 years, so I can run with your furrball if you want! My motto is to keep good vibes, and there are no bad animals. I believe mutual respect is important! I love love love animals, and hope I can be what yours needs!

I was so anxious about finding someone to house sit and watch my senior dog (with a good amount of separation anxiety) over Christmas this year and Lauren did such an incredible job. She was so communicative and sent me updates & pictures everyday I was gone. She put all of my worries at ease, thank you so much Lauren!!!!

I am comfortable with entering passcodes, finding keys, and/or calling into systems to enter houses. I know some pets have routines, and so I am super patient with anxious animals, and will wait until everyone is comfortable to proceed. I am also super respectful of house rules and can totally water your plants as well, haha!

A typical day
I am very adaptable, depending on your animals needs! I am able to go on runs and continue training for active animals, as well as play with toys and do stimulating obstical courses! I also enjoy giving good pets and rubs, as well as going for swims. I usually walk upwards of 4 miles a day, so I love long walks to parks or going on hikes. If your little furball wants to chill, we can chill, but if they want to go crazy, we can go crazy :D

Availability
I am very open an available! As someone who has animals, I understand the urgency of pet owners, and am very flexible to other's work/vacation schedules. I'm open to all requests! I work 12:30-6 a few days out of the week, but can check-up/walk/ your little fur friends before and after these times! Reguardless of my availability, contact me and I'll do my best to work it out!
